For my project, I created a birthday card for my cute little nephew who will be turning five years old soon.

I used papers and accents from the brand new This & That “Charming” line – one of my favorite EP lines ever! (you’ll be seeing a lot more of this line for sure!!)

I used the round punch tool, along with the bubble caps to create the little number accents on my banner flags. I love the way the page pebbles highlight the numbers punched from the patterned papers

january gardeners’ digest…

I am so excited to be able to join with my fellow Garden Girl design team members from Two Peas in a bucket to bring you the very first Gardners’ Digest – a new monthly blog hop series! Each month we’ll be chatting and sharing inspiration about all things scrapbook related and we are so excited about it – I hope you are too!

To start off my portion of the January digest, I’d love to share a little peek of a project I have coming up in the Two Peas Garden in the near future:

I created a layout that focuses on different ways to use pre-made die-cuts. I had so much fun putting together my layout (which obviously has a Valentine/Love theme)! I’ll be sure to let you know when it goes live so you can check out the entire layout! I can’t wait to see what my fellow designers came up with for their projects as well…you can check out the Garden Girl Gallery for loads of fun ideas!

Speaking of the Garden Girl Gallery, I always find so much inspiration there. Here’s a peek at just one of the many (many, many, many) projects I’ve been especially inspired by recently.

I love love love watching the other girls create their projects, I learn so much through seeing them work and hearing them share tips and tricks as they create…love the videos! There are NINE (!) different series (so far) and I don’t even know how many individual videos, but they are each packed full of ideas and information. It’s no secret I love journaling – especially hand-written journaling. Little Yellow Bicycle always has fun journaling pockets in their collections and I am loving this new set of journaling pockets in their new Paradise Fresh collection.

I am loving the unique mix of colors in this “Paper Heart” collection by Crate Paper…and not just for Valentine’s Day!

How CUTE are these little Valentines from We R Memory Keepers (part of their new Love Struck Collection)?

Oh, and these sweet little stamps from We R’s Love Struck collection too. Seriously, for less than a dollar each – how could you go wrong?!?

And finally, a new tool to add to my collection. I only invest in new tools when I KNOW I can get a LOT of use out of it. It has to be versatile. I can think of SO many uses for this new tab punch by Jenny Bowlin from Fiskars. I can’t wait to start making custom tabs for my projects!

First, I made a quick run into town for one of these:

Cold and snowy….just as January in our little town SHOULD be. (we’ve been pretty much snowless so far this winter).

Which leads us to the toy room:

And this is only one little corner. I’ll spare all of us the rest of the room. Rest assured…I spent a big chunk of my day in this room hanging with the two little guys (who make the BEST helpers when they want to). And 3 garbage bags and 2 d.i. bags later, it looks GREAT in there!

I should go take an “after” photo (before it gets messy again).

Last night the boys were even playing IN the toy room…imagine! ;)

Each year, I love putting together some kind of special Valentine’s Day treat for my family. Last year I filled their dinner plates with treats and little gifts, all wrapped up in these super cute polka-dot bags. This layout simply shares some of the details from their gifts.

…to this little tool. It’s not new, but it’s somewhat new to me. I think I bought my first tiny attacher 3 or 4 months ago, and I now feel like it’s a “staple” (I know, cornball) in my tool kit. I LOVE it!

The staples are just a bit smaller than the standard size – but still big enough to really hold stuff together.

Plus they are just cute!

I just noticed it’s back in stock at Two Peas. If you don’t have one, I think you should buy one…I bet it’ll become a quick “staple” for you as well!

P.S. You can order refills too!

…if I were you, I’d just go ahead and order a refill or two when you order the attacher.

Especially if you have kids – ‘cause they are going to love it just as much as you!

Double page layouts aren’t unusual for me…in fact, I usually prefer them, especially when I’m working with 8 1/2” x 11” layouts. So it wasn’t a stretch for me to create this 2 page layout for my Pebbles, Inc. design team assignment this week.

Here are some of the details from my pages:

I used a lot of product from the Ever After line…which you might only consider a “girls” line since there’s a LOT of pink and princessy stuff…but I thought the blues, greens, and yellows were perfect for these photos.

I used browns from the baby boy lines as well…

christmas card 2011…

For some reason, I struggled with getting in the mood to do some of the “regular” holiday stuff this year…like Christmas cards. I actually made the decision NOT to send out Christmas cards this year. However, when I mentioned this to my sweet husband, I could tell I had made the WRONG choice. So, the week before Christmas I started searching online for a cute (EASY) template so I could just drop in a photo, upload to Costco, and pick up to mail off. This was my first attempt:

And finally, I found this template. It took a little more work, but I was really pleased with the result. I’ve never been a big fan of the “Holiday Letter" but I thought this was kind of a fun way to sum up our year without getting all long-winded and “braggy…”

I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas day. We enjoyed our day immensely – the kids were up early. They had to ask us several times to get up so they could open their gifts from Santa. We gathered in the living room and enjoyed opening gifts (photos to come). Since it was so early, and I was working on the 2nd day of a Migraine (Merry Christmas and Christmas Eve to me ), I went back to bed to sleep for a couple more hours. We all went to church at 11:00 – Grandma and Grandpa joined us since our meeting was 2 hours earlier than theirs – and enjoyed a beautiful meeting. We all went over to Grandma and Grandpa’s home for a wonderful lunch and gift exchange with family. We were lucky to have some of our cousins come back over to our house for a while to play and visit. We ended the day watching movies and eating yummy food. It was a truly wonderful Christmas day. And now I’m looking forward to spending the week with our kiddos…looking forward to celebrating New Year’s day in one short week! :o)

holiday greetings album…

I have not been doing a very good job of keeping up my blog lately. I don’t have any excuses…just busy with regular “life” and “work” stuff. I’ve even pulled a couple of all-nighters over the last few weeks (you know, this is getting more and more difficult as I get older!). Anyway, I was putting up some ribbon on my kitchen cabinets so I could hang the holiday cards we’ve started receiving and it made me think of this little album I put together for Creating Keepsakes. It’s a little album holding all of our cards from last year. The front and back covers were made from a gift bag…I LOVED this bag and I was so excited to be able to incorporate it into this project!

It’s in the current issue (December 2011).

The first page is OUR card…

And then I started adding cards from family and friends.

The little tag/envelopes each hold a journaling card about how we know the family the card is from.

And this is a page with a little envelope holding a “Christmas letter” type of holiday greeting (it was printed on both sides and too wide to adhere directly to the page – I thought the envelope was a fun way to add it. :)

The tags are actually from an advent calendar kit by Making Memories.

Do you save your holiday cards? I just can’t part with them after the holidays…usually I put them in a big envelope and tuck them away, but I think I’m going to start putting them all in little albums similar to this one… It would be fun to have a basket full of these to put out each year with our holiday decorations. :)

stripey tree and pjs…

I have the hardest time getting GOOD photos of the kids on Christmas Eve in their PJ’s. For one thing, it’s almost impossible to get four children who are absolutely FILLED with excitement and anticipation to HOLD STILL all at the same time. For another thing…it’s always dark outside, which means the lights inside are on…and in my world, that means not good lighting. I try. Really I do. And I take dozens of photos, hoping there will be one or two that turn out…but that just isn’t always the case. Fortunately, black and white is always an option…and it almost always wins out in the end for my Christmas Eve pictures.

This layout features some photos (black and white, of course) of last year’s Christmas Eve PJs. I love how they were all a little bit snuggly when I first started snapping pictures…of course it only lasted a few minutes before they were pulling silly faces and wiggling all around (the proof is in that last photo, lol). I shared this layout yesterday on the create:blog, along with a step-by-step tutorial for creating the stripey Christmas tree. All of the products are from the “Santa’s Workshop” collection by Doodlebug Designs.

this little miracle…

…turned EIGHT years old on Saturday!

It’s hard to believe it was EIGHT whole years ago when this little miracle baby entered our lives. He was a miracle then, and continues to amaze us each and every day. He was able to be baptized on his VERY birthday…such a special experience. We had a wonderful day on his birthday, surrounded by so many family members who love him. We ate lots of yummy treats, he opened lots of thoughtful gifts, we went to “build-a-bear” so he could create an “Alvin,” and we spent the rest of the evening playing the fun games he received. I sure love this little guy and I am so proud of him! Happy Birthday Seth! :)

the sweetest gift…

Last year Seth surprised Brad and me with Christmas gifts he made all by himself. You may see cans of soup (or who knows what….since the labels were removed). You may see pre-cut Christmas trees with way too many pom-poms glued on. But not me. I see something completely different.

I see one of the sweetest gifts I’ve ever laid eyes on. I see love and thought and careful planning. I see effort and time. I see that a barely seven-year-old boy wanted to surprise his mom and dad with a handmade gift for Christmas.

You may not see what I see – but if you’re a mom, you probably do.

I love that he wanted to surprise us. I love that he was creative. I love that he did this all by himself. I love that he was so proud of himself as he handed us our special gifts.

And guess what? I love being able to see the evidence of his love and creativity every time I open my cupboard door – because they are still sitting on the shelf. You see, I can’t bring myself to actually use these cans of food. They are a reminder of how much love one little boy put into a special gift for us.

3 cute turkeys…

I spent some time yesterday making these fun little footprint turkeys with the boys. They loved getting their feet painted…and I loved the idea of always having this fun little way to remember how big (or little) their feet are! You might remember the handprint turkeys the little boys and I made last year…I think I’ll do those again next year - and I’ll probably keep doing some type of body-print turkey for as long as they will play along – they grow so fast, it’s always fun to have a little reminder of their cute little hands and feet!

I’ve seen lots of different versions of these turkeys on Pinterest lately, and we had a lot of fun making ours.

I thought it would be fun to put them right onto a layout..and this is the result. You can read more about how we made our turkeys, and more details about the layout on the WOW post I wrote for the create:blog here.

autumn rendezvous…

I’ve been going through some of my “older” photos (if you haven’t noticed) and came across these pictures from the day of Meagan’s 4th grade Rendezvous. They were allowed to dress up like mountain men and indians and then they took items to school to barter/trade/sell.

I remember doing the same thing when I was in 4th grade (a bazillion years ago). We earned “beaver bucks” from Mrs. Provost throughout the month of November, then we were able to use those to buy items at the rendezvous. I don’t remember what most of the items were – but I remember there was popcorn. In fact, when I think about it, I can still smell the popcorn. It must have been yummy! Good memories…I loved 4th grade!

grateful for home…

My design team assignment for this week on the Doodlebug blog was to create a layout about something I am grateful for. I decided to put together a fun little layout about our new home.

We have been in our home for almost a year now, and it has been such a wonderful place to live. From the first moment we walked through the door just over a year ago, it felt like home. We had looked at dozens of houses – and there were quite a few that we liked…but this one definitely felt different.

After almost a year, I can honestly say we have NO regrets. We love it here. Our home is just right for our family. Our new neighborhood and ward are just right for our family. It’s all just right. I am so grateful to be able to call this house our home. :)

And now…a few details about the layout. I used the “Welcome Home” line by Doodlebug Design for my layout.

I just love all of the colorful little houses on the patterned papers, stickers, and other accents.

And the rub-on quote is one of my favorite! We truly are grateful for our home – but mostly for “the life that’s lived there.” I love this time of year and the opportunity to really think about all that I have and all that I am grateful for. Regardless of trials and any difficult circumstances we have to face, I feel so incredibly blessed.

echo park + may arts = blog hop + a giveaway…

Hi friends! Welcome to this stop along the Echo Park/May Arts Blog Hop! :)

For my project, I wanted to use Echo Park’s newest line, Winter Park.

I love the different shades of red and blue accented with the neutral browns and creams.

I incorporated two different types of ribbon from May Arts – a warm, fuzzy ribbon and another with lots of sparkle!

I used foam dots to add this cute little snowman to a journaling block that started with the phrase, “once there was a snowman,” and I added other random stickers to finish the journaling. I thought he needed some buttons too, so I tied jute through a couple of red buttons and added them to his tummy.

These sticker trees are also popped up with foam squares – and just take another peek at that ribbon below the trees – doesn’t it just scream “warm and cozy”?!? I love it!

Don’t be afraid to place stickers directly on your photo – I added the little strip of border sticker and the snowflake stickers to the corner of this photo of Zach. :)

This is a better photo of the glittery/spakly brown ribbon. I gathered/pleated it with glue dots – if it was white it would look just like snow on a sunny day – I love the brown though!

And finally, here’s a close-up of the journaling block. Of course, I wrote the journaling (hand-written journaling is always my preference!). I love that all of Echo Park’s lines have a sheet of journaling blocks included – with oodles of options. I used three on this layout – one for the title block, one for the journaling block, and one is just a base for embellishments (with the trees). There are lots of options for those lovely little cards!

The design for this layout is based on a fun card that was published in CARDS magazine this month. All of the supplies I used are from the “Forever Fall” line by Bo Bunny. The colors are so deep and pretty for fall.

I just realized I didn’t share this card last month when it was featured on the Two Peas “A to Z Stamping Event!” Can you guess which letter this card was for? You’ll never guess…unless you have been following along with the stamping event.

Give up? It was Q. Yep, Q. Q is for QUICK! Sometimes when I'm creating a card or a layout I find that I just need a little "something" to pull everything together and make it all look cohesive. That's where this QUICK stamping technique can come in handy. All you need is a solid accent of some type (a tag, a journaling block, etc.) and a background stamp.

On my card, I wanted to add a cute little mini bag filled with birthday goodies to the front, ...but the solid bag just seemed to stand out way too much, so I inked up a background stamp, in this case I used a definition stamp, and stamped the bag.

I think it would have been cute to use polka-dots too. :)

After adding the embellishments, tying with string, and filling with sticker "goodies," I stuffed a bit of tissue down inside the bag to give it a little bit of dimension and attached the bag to the front. :)

the true story of puss ‘n boots…

Earlier this month The True Story of Puss 'N Boots was released by Phase 4 Films. We received a copy of the movie from Team Mom and Child’s Play Communications on behalf of Phase 4 Films so we could watch it and share our thoughts. {All views and opinions expressed are my own.}

This film is based on the famous Puss 'N Boots character by Charles Perrault. A Young Farmer’s son inherits a strange talking cat with magical boots. With his cunning wit, Puss helps him win the heart of the Princess while battling devious suitors that are after the throne.

This CGI animated film features the voice talent of William Shatner (though you probably won’t hear the voice you would expect). The True Story of Puss’N Boots is supposed to focus on a family friendly theme of overcoming obstacles and accomplishing your dreams. Of course, this is important to us, and I was looking forward to watching the movie with the kids.

Unfortunately, I have to say I was disappointed, overall, with this movie. It seemed dark and a little bit scary for the kids. There was “adult humor” that I didn’t think was appropriate for the kids – which is weird since the rating is “G.” And I won’t even get into the Princess and her clothing, or lack thereof…let’s just say there was way too much animated skin on the screen…The boys didn’t even want to watch more than the first 15 minutes or so…and Brad was pretty much disgusted.

I will say that the animation and artistry is interesting. It is different than anything I’ve seen in an animated film. The backgrounds and scenery are detailed and fun to look at – but that’s probably the best thing about the movie.

Obviously, this is only my opinion and our experience. If you’d like to check it out for yourself, a DVD/Blu Ray combo pack is available for purchase from Amazon for $22.49 or just the DVD version is available for $16.49. I think yellow is one of the happiest colors...and I buy a LOT of yellow scrapbooking items - but for some reason I struggle with using them, so making a yellow project for the A to Z Stamping Event was the gentle shove I needed to actually use some fun yellowness on a project!

Welcome to the Two Peas in a Bucket Garden Girl Blog Hop! A Garden Girl is the title we receive as designers for the Two Peas website. As Garden Girls we create projects, host challenges, teach classes, and participate in events all designed to inspire your creativity. This week the Garden Girls are sponsoring special projects and giveaways on our personal blogs.

For my project, I decided to create something inspired by a project I saw on Pinterest several weeks ago…only my version will be a little bit different. Here’s how it looks right now:

I started out with an old(er) brass container and I spray painted it. After the paint dried, I embellished the container with patterned paper, ribbon, and chipboard (all of the products are linked below). Next, I took the clippers out to one of our now leafless trees an snipped off a branch – which I also spray painted (white and cream). I added foam inside the container, stuck in the branch, and topped it off with some spanish moss. I think it looks cute - but it’s super BARE!

See all of these paper leaves I cut out? My plan is for each member of our family to write things they are grateful for on these leaves, then I will tie them onto the branches. By the time Thanksgiving rolls around later this month, the tree should be full of beautiful leaves – and even more beautiful thoughts!

I love finding ways to record the things we are grateful for and I can’t wait to see what my family thinks about this project! I’m planning on sharing some photos of the finished project, so please check back later this month to see how it turns out!

For today’s Fabrique Friday post, I just wanted to pop in and answer a question I have been asked several times. The most frequently asked question I get is some version of this:

What’s the difference between the Slice Fabrique Design cards and the Slice Elite Design cards?

The answer is simple:

The cards are similar, they are just marketed for different people. All the Elite design cards were created for paper and the Fabrique design cards were created for fabric. You can cross over and use all the Fabrique design cards on the Elite. Most of the Elite shapes will work on the Fabrique (except the shapes that are intense or intricate).

doodlebug halloween cards…

My first design team assignment is up on the Doodlebug blog today! I was assigned to use the Doodlebug create-a-card bases. Of course I opted to make Halloween cards – these cute colorful monster designs were just calling my name!

And since these create-a-card packs come with envelopes, I wanted to make a coordinating envelope too! It was easy with the cut-out pages and rub-ons. :)

These pumpkins are super cute…but I added google eyes to fun-ify them even more!

For some reason the card and envelope look a little yellow (below) in the supply list – but be assured, they are a pretty pumpkin orange! :)

cold feet…

I am downstairs ~~working~~ trying to work and I can’t concentrate because my feet are cold. I have on socks and slippers…but my toes are not warm enough. I actually borrowed Josh’s little space heater from his room since he wasn’t using it. It’s helping, but not enough, obviously, since I still can’t focus on work.

I am really wishing I had these socks that I saw in Pinterest a while ago:

Don’t they look perfectly warm and cozy?? I wish I could actually find them so I could buy them. Then I could wear them when I’m working late at night and I could actually get my work done – because I wouldn’t be so distracted by my cold feet!

Since I was already unfocused, I started searching Amazon.com for warm socks (not that it would really help me tonight…but still…) and I came across these cute slippers:

They look warm and aren’t they so cute??

When I looked at the “related links” I saw these:

I guess I never really thought about sock monkeys being made out of actual socks…which came first? I’m assuming the socks, but I’d never seen “sock monkey socks” before…

So, have YOU ever worn sock monkey socks? Are they warm? Do I need a pair to keep my feet toasty?

shimelle’s “pretty paper party” class & a giveaway…

There are online classes for everything these days, and Shimelle has been teaching online scrapbooking classes for years - but she's decided it's time to kick it up a bit and go from online class to a four-week online party, and you're invited. what’s your halloween style…

I used to be a purely "CUTE" (cutesy) Halloween girl. The brighter the shades of orange and purple, the better! Then I started liking softer shades...rust and gray and olive green. Then I moved in to my "victorian" or "vintage" halloween phase. Sometimes I think I want to do Halloween in purely black and white. And now I'm noticing shades of light blue and teal intermixed with the traditional colors of Halloween.

I think I love them all and I'm glad I don't have to choose just one! Right now (through the 15th), Two Peas is having a huge sale on their Halloween products – imagine that – a sale on Halloween products BEFORE Halloween!

surprise boxes–finally…

I put out the word a week or two ago that I was getting ready to put together some more surprise boxes to sell…and then I got kind of distracted with cleaning and sorting and everything else that goes on in your life when you’re a mom to four busy kiddos! But I’m happy to say the boxes are FINALLY ready to go out the door! I ended up with quite a few more than I expected – I really cleaned well! ;)

I have filled over a dozen “medium flat rate priority mail boxes” full full full of product. And when I say full, I really mean full – there’s no room for peanuts or crumpled up shipping paper – these babies are packed tight – and they are HEAVY!

If you are interested in purchasing a surprise box, please e-mail me (wendysueanderson@hotmail.com).

It’ll work just like before:

Boxes are all different and all random – they may include: patterned paper, cardstock, stickers, chipboard, misc. embellishments (flowers, buttons, brads, ribbon, tags), etc. I am not going to take photos of all the product in each box (thus the term “surprise boxes”), but I promise there will be a lot more than $40 worth of product in each and every box. A lot more. Much of the product is brand new in it’s original packaging. Some things have been opened and I’ve used a portion (letter stickers, rub-ons, etc.).
$40 per box (which will include flat rate USPS shipping which is $10.95) Unless you are local, of course, you won't have to pay shipping and we can arrange for you to pick up your box.
If you would like to purchase two boxes, I’ll cover the shipping on the 2nd box so it will only cost you $29 (so $69 for two boxes including shipping).
US Shipping only (sorry international friends – it just gets too complicated (and expensive) for these boxes)
I will accept payments by PayPal only

my first WOW post…

Hi friends! In case you missed my little announcement earlier this week, I have accepted an editorial position with Northridge Publishing! Part of my responsibilities include writing for their blog, CREATE, two times a week. Each Monday I will write about varying topics (all creative and scrap-related). Wednesdays, however, will all be WOW days! The previous blogger, Jen Gallacher, started the weekly theme – WOW (work-it-out-Wednesday), and I am excited to continue the tradition.

I’m usually not a ruffle-y kind of girl. I can usually pass on frills and fluff…but not this time.

It’s a Monday morning and you know what that means – a mile long “to do” list…seems that is the story of my life these days. We had a great weekend – I channeled my “inner Grandma Vida” and helped Brad build shelves for our garage. We have one set left to build, then we’ll start organizing and putting everything away – it’s been quite an adventure…but once we figured out what we were doing I think we both actually had fun.

We were also able to watch/listen to General Conference this weekend. There were many inspirational words spoken and I’m planning on re-watching each session over the next few days. Meagan was most devoted to sitting and watching each session this year – she even jotted down notes and quotes in a very fun way – I’ll have to see if she’ll let me share her little piece of artwork.

Fall is definitely in the air this morning – our windows even fogged up a bit as I drove Meagan to school just before sunrise – I think today is supposed to be fairly nice, but later in the week we are expecting cold, rain, wind…and I even read “mountain snow” in the forecast. I don’t’ think I’m quite ready for snow…but a nice chill in the air, combined with the beautiful orange, red, and yellow leaves on the trees in our neighborhood, have me ready to cook a big pot of soup and a batch of homemade rolls. I’m also getting anxious to pull out my sweaters! Bring on Autumn. :)

I also have a layout to share today. I received a fun kit to create some projects – it was a birthday themed kit by Simple Stories. This is the first time I have used a Simple Stories Kit. Now that I've used one...it's safe to say I'll be using them a LOT from now on! There is SO much product included in each kit. There are sheets of patterned paper, sheets of journaling blocks, sheets of photo mats, sheets with stickers (heavy cardstock stickers), and more!
I love that the concept is truly simple - each piece in the kit is ready to trim and insert into divided page protectors. If you choose to do that, you can definitely complete a lot of pages very quickly. But I also love that you aren't limited to adding each piece directly into a pre-made album. I used lots of the papers in this kit and mixed & matched different elements to create a two page spread.

A few of the ways I used the kit to create my layout:
* I cut a large photo mat in half to use under my title. I added dimension behind the sticker party hat with foam squares too.

* Isn't that journaling block cute? And since I'm a fan of hand-written journaling, it was perfect for me. There were lots of journaling block options - I just found one that was the size I wanted and started writing.

* I also used some of the stickers to create my own little toothpick flags.

* And see that bottom photo over on the right page? There's a clear acetate photo cover too...I attached it with staples (my tiny attacher is on it's way - I can't wait!).

The beautiful thing about this kit is that even though I used a LOT of product on this spread, there is so so so much more!

And there’s one more thing I want to share today…I’ve been keeping a few little secrets for a couple of months – and I can spill the beans about one of those secrets today! It’s officially my first day of writing for the CREATE blog! I will be writing twice a week, and sharing lots of projects and ideas. I am so excited for this new venture and I’m looking forward to interacting with the CREATE blog readers. I’d be honored if you’d join me every Monday and Wednesday! :o)

easy canvas prints…

We’ve been in our new home for nine months now. I’m still struggling with putting things up on the walls. I am nervous about making holes to hang things. The big blank walls are crisp and fresh, but frankly, they are starting to feel a little boring. So when I was contacted by Easy Canvas Prints a few weeks ago, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to order a new family photo to hang in our new home. Easy Canvas Prints is a company that will turn your personal photos to canvas.

The actual process was super easy – I just had to upload a photo, choose a size (they offered to send me a free 8x10 print in exchange for an unbiased review here on my blog, but I wanted something a bit larger, so I paid to upgrade to a 16x20), select a border option ( I opted to have the photo wrapped around the edges, but the mirror image effect or the solid color option would have been cool too), and that was it!

A few days later, my canvas arrived!

It was packed so well – nice and safe! I was so impressed with how crisp the photo looked (photo taken by Lori Muse Photography). The colors are exactly how they should have been, the images was crisp – no noise or blurriness - the quality is amazing. I only own one other canvas print, and I love it…but this one is definitely better quality.

It took me about 3 minutes to unwrap it, decide where to hang it, and put it up on the wall!

We have this little cut-out between the entry room and the family room – the space on the left side of the window was the perfect size for this canvas to hang.

I really like it… and now my other walls are feeling REALLY empty. I am thinking about ordering a set of small canvases to put on the right side of the cut-out.
